Project Accountant - Atkinson Moss : Job Details

A high performing company based in Norwich is looking to appoint an accomplished Project Accountant to play a key role in the accurate delivery all financial reports. Supporting the Financial Controller and liaising with multiple stakeholders, the key duties will include:

• Preparation of month end accounts for various trading entities
• Responsibility for reconciling all balance sheet accounts
• Creation of models to analyse data efficiently
• Assistance with creation of Management reporting pack
• Providing detailed analysis to aid preparation of multiple P&L’s
• Provide high quality financial insight and guidance to management based on commercial understanding of the business to support decision making processes
• Challenge processes, identify weaknesses and provide recommendations to support the development and implementation of more robust processes and controls
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
• Preparation of audit requirements (external and internal)

The ideal candidate will be an active studier (ACCA/CIMA) or finalist looking for the next career step. Identifiable experience of financial reporting, ideally within a Group or multi-divisional environment will be well received and strong excel skills will be highly advantageous.
