Exciting Interim Opportunity: Project Accountant (Commercial & Analytical Focus)

Role Overview:

Join a dynamic team during a critical transition period, where you'll apply your expertise in commercial analysis, costing, and project management. You'll lead financial projects that support transformation and change within a new business development division.

Position: Interim Project Accountant Location: RemoteContract: 4 MonthsRate: £250 per day (Umbrella) - equivalent to £55k annuallyAvailability: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial analysis for annual fee negotiations
• Conduct cost analysis for benchmarking
• Provide financial insights for tender frameworks, ensuring compliance with financial and legal standards.
• Collaborate with operations to drive service efficiencies and improved financial outcomes.
• Support income, billing, and credit control functions in conjunction with business development.
• Manage financial projects related to contract tenders and costing exercises.
• Contribute to other ad hoc financial projects in a fast-paced environment.

Candidate Profile:

• Experienced Management Accountant or Financial Analyst in a commercial setting
• Expertise in costing, financial analysis, and effective stakeholder communication.
• Proactive and adaptable, with experience in SME or mission-driven environments.
