Benefits:

  • Circa £34,000 per annum (depending on experience/qualifications).
  • Flexible Start & Finish: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Holiday Entitlement: 34 days, includes 8 statutory.

Our client, a well-established manufacturer and installer is looking to recruit an experienced Project Co-Ordinator to join their Contracts Department.

.

The Role:

Responsible for the successful delivery of Capital Expenditure projects, primarily within the wastewater treatment sector. Projects range from smaller, single-unit systems valued at approximately £20,000, to more complex systems up to £1 million. The Project Co-Ordinator will manage projects from initial enquiry through to final completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a variety of projects for multiple clients.
  • Manage individual contracts from the initial review of enquiries from the Sales team to the successful delivery of each project.
  • Liaise with various departments, including Design, Production, Site, and Electrical teams, to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Assist in ensuring the financial success of each project by tracking costs and performance.
  • Visit project sites to assist the design team and installation personnel with the preparation of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), installation plans, and site packs.
  • Engage in a detailed product knowledge programme to enhance understanding of the company’s solutions.
  • Handle all project administration, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Project Management Experience: Proven track record in managing projects within a manufacturing, production, engineering, or construction environment.
  • Site Experience: Comfortable attending construction sites as part of the project coordination process.
  • RAMS Preparation: Experience in preparing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) is essential.
  • Qualifications: Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • Attention to Detail: A strong focus on ensuring quality across all projects.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills, able to plan and prioritise work effectively to meet multiple demands and deadlines.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive and flexible approach to resolving project-related issues.
  • Motivated and keen to continue developing skills and experience in Engineering or Project Management.
