Project Controller/Planner - Venn Group : Job Details

Venn Group Project Controller/Planner SC Clearance Contract Hybrid working in Somerset (2 days onsite, rest remote)Rate DOE (Inside IR35)

My client require a Project Controls/Planner to join their team on a long-term contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• To lead/drive the definition and delivery of required Project Controls changes
• Work with relevant stakeholders ensure an understanding of existing process, policies and limitations is in place
• Ensure processes are updated, created and completed by user
• Provide expertise, training and solutions to at least 4 other members of staff in the team
• Create assessments and outputs specific to the client which have reference to Theoretical best practice
• Resolve blocking points directly and highlight suitable timescales where issues arise that risk target delivery dates

Skills Required:

• Extensive Project Controls/Planning background
• Experienced in the planning and scheduling of complex tasks within defence/aerospace
• Hands-on experience and knowledge with the use of MS Project
• Motivated and confident individual with the willingness to step up and provide training and support to a small team
• Experience working as a Project Controller/Planner in similar Defence or Aerospace companies
• SC Cleared

Desirable:

• Understanding or experience with SAP
• Experience working on MoD projects/programmes would be an advantage
