Salary: up to £55,000 per annumWe are on the lookout for a skilled Project Engineer with an electrical bias to become a pivotal part of the National Theatre Capital Projects Team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute your expertise to a range of exciting infrastructure upgrade projects set for completion by March 2026. If you have a passion for engineering and a knack for electrical services, we want you on our team!Day to Day of the role:
- Serve as the primary engineering contact for Contractors, Designers, NT Project Managers, external Project Managers, and the Programme Manager.
- Provide expert advice and support on all engineering matters, with a focus on electrical services.
- Ensure seamless coordination and communication between all parties involved in the projects.
- Conduct thorough investigations and surveys, and liaise with the Facilities team to align with Business-as-Usual operations.
- Oversee the design, specification, and implementation of electrical systems within the project portfolio.
- Maintain compliance with Building Regulations, construction standards, EWR, COSHH, manual handling, and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer with an electrical bias in building, infrastructure, or construction projects.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a range of stakeholders.
- A solid understanding of Building Regulations, construction standards, EWR, COSHH, manual handling, and quality assurance.
- A recognised electrical apprenticeship or equivalent, with qualifications to degree level or HNC.
- Demonstrable knowledge of common electrical engineering infrastructure and systems.
