Our client is a well-established and thriving business, currently undergoing a period of substantial growth. Supplying into the utilities, water and green energy business, they are now seeking an additional Project Engineer to join their team.
Main Duties
- Meet with clients to take details of specific requirements of each project
- Delegate project tasks to junior staff members as appropriate
- Project manage the contracts from initially enquiry to completion
- Meet budgetary and cost objectives and track project performance,
- Oversee the installation of contracts and train customer on use of equipment
Requirements
- Basic Engineering Training is essential together with a full understanding of Project Management principals.
- A project management professional certificate is highly desirable
- Must be capable of specifying Plant and Machinery.
- Have a good understanding of Health and Safety Operational requirements.
- Have a good understanding of Instrumentation and Control with basic knowledge of PLC systems.
- Possess a good understanding of Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems.
- Proficient in the principals of Machinery Installation and Commissioning.
- Must be capable of problem solving and troubleshooting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate internally
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Willingness to travel including some nights away from home
