Job Description :

Project Manager required by market leading, award winning, professional services organisation in Central Bristol. This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days a week onsite per week.

The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and implementation of a portfolio of complex projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. You will work closely with project teams (BA’s, Change Managers etc), internal customers and external partners delivering key change initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, including the creation and maintenance of project plans, managing resources, working with third parties and strategic partners.
  • Manage a portfolio of projects including reporting, deliverables, and benefits tracking. Provide best practice and advice on project management frameworks and standards for PMO and wider business.
  • Ensure budgets are managed by forecasting requirements, preparing budgets, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances and initiating corrective actions.
  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Manage stakeholders across the business to ensure alignment to deliver the project.
  • Work with the business to understand the requirements and scope of the project.
  • Manage 3rd party suppliers to deliver to time, cost and quality.
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with IT teams and members of the business at all levels

Ideal Background:

  • Great interpersonal skills to work well with your key business partners
  • Proven track record for planning, executing, controlling, and closing projects and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision
  • Experienced in both agile and waterfall methodologies
  • Experience of working within a PMO environment
  • Salesforce experience is desirable
  • Proven experience of Business Change Techniques
  • Experience in delivering projects with solutions involving both bespoke and package solutions
  • Able to translate IT speak into clear language that non IT colleagues can understand
  • PMP/ Prince 2 certification

This fantastic permanent role comes with a salary of £55,000-60,000 p/a.
