Job Description :
Broster Buchanan are partnered with a leading retail goods supplier who are looking for an IT Project Manager to join at a pivotal point of business growth and expansion. This is an exciting new role which will focus on the delivery of significant technology projects and in the future play a significant role in designing and implementing processes and best practices for the IT department.This is a permanent role with a salary of £55k - £65k on offer and would require someone near Alconbury, near Huntingdon, as the role will be onsite 4 days per week on average with core hours of 8-5 Monday - Friday.Responsibilities:
  • To assist with all elements of change management in conjunction with the Digital Transformation Steering Group.
  • Ensure projects are set-up for success and are delivered on time and to budget to the agreed scope.
  • Ensure that appropriate internal and 3rd party resources are available for all projects and manage delivery to achieve project success.
  • Manage a portfolio of business and IT driven projects including the delivery of business transformation, IT Infrastructure, business application enhancements and business critical technology platforms as part of their 3-year business strategy. 
  • To proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Experience of building, and leading, a project management function in a fast-paced environment and a track record of delivering projects on-time and on-budget
  • Full life cycle ERP Implementation experience and a proven track record of delivery, ideally with smaller/manufacturing ERP systems
  • Experience in managing a variety of IT projects, including cloud, infrastructure, ERP and WMS implementations
  • A strong track record in the successful project management of significant business change projects.
  • Must have industry experience within manufacturing/FMCG or similar with a good understanding of industry processes and technologies
  • Vendor management and the ability to manage suppliers in the delivery of technology solutions.
  • Ability to communicate project and programme status, scope changes, milestone achievement, misses and implications to Stakeholders (both internal and external) and management ensuring "no surprises" running and delivery of all projects.
