Project Manager - Matchtech : Job Details

As a project manager, you will be a key member of our team, responsible for establishing and maintaining a strong rapport internally as well as with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have excellent and demonstrable leadership, communication, and time management skills as well as a strong will to get things done.

Responsibilities

- Ensure all project deliverables, deadlines, and client expectations are met, aligned with contractual obligations.- Actively seek to increase contract value and benefits through the contracts change management process.- Lead project planning sessions to set clear project goals and objectives, determine timelines, define tasks, and outline resources necessary to successfully complete the project.- Monitor the progress of projects, including addressing issues that may arise and ensuring project deliverables are completed to specification, on time, and within budget.- Use an appropriate tracking tool to coordinate different elements of the project.- Follow standard processes as defined by the company.- Organise regular status and review meetings as necessary, including generating and distributing meeting minutes.- Develop and analyse data to prepare accurate financial forecasts and reports.- Gather resources, identify potential constraints based on activities and timeframes, and define solutions to manage any constraints identified.- Implement a relevant risk management plan to minimise foreseeable disruptions.- Oversee all incoming and outgoing project documentation.- Maintain adherence to company style and branding in all outgoing communications.- Report regularly to management and relevant stakeholders on the progress of the project, challenges, resolutions, and alterations.

Requirements

- Relevant degree within a technical, business, or project management field.- At least 3-5 years' experience delivering projects within a technical environment.- Strong commercial and contractual awareness.- Must be willing to travel on occasion.- Expertise within PM software such as Primavera or Microsoft Project.- Advanced negotiation and conflict resolution skills.- Strong management, leadership, and interpersonal skills.- Ability to present technical and complex information clearly and concisely at a level appropriate to the target audience.- Ability to work effectively under pressure and time constraints in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.

Nice to have Requirements

- PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification.- Experience in managing CAT 2 & 3 Projects.- SC Clearance.- Military/defence experience.
