Job Description :

Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity in the IT/EPOS retail industry? Concept are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading retail IT services organisation.This is a 6 month contract opportunity starting ASAPDay to Day Tasks for the Project Manager

  • You will be working on large projects across a leading retail client
  • These projects will typically encompass IT systems, infrastructure, 'roll outs' application development and management, systems migration and service provision
  • Need to understand the scope of works - review drawings, programmes, emails, not always clear
  • Contact the appropriate suppliers to request quotes
  • Prepare and submit quotes
  • Update commercial register
  • Produce purchase orders
  • Schedule/invoice the works
  • Check if completed, deal with issues/snags, revisits if necessary, re-quote if scope changes
  • Works will be allocated to you/you will receive direct engagement once established

What are we looking for?The successful Project Manager will have:

  • Hands on Retail Project Management experience is essential
  • Prince 2 accredited
  • Works well under pressure
  • Good stakeholder management
  • Time management
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Able to work independently as well as within a team
  • Be commutable to Milton Keynes

Working Hours

  • You will be working Monday-Friday, 9-5 (flexibility will be required)
  • The role will be a mixture of office based and remote working. You may need to travel to stores as and when required

What are the rates?

  • The successful candidates will be paid up to £400 per day via an Umbrella company
