Location: Peterlee (hybrid working)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our Business Change team working together to successfully deliver key projects and change initiatives within Auxillis.

Reporting directly to the Business Change Director and collaborating closely with the Lead Business Analyst, other business and IT Project Managers, you will take ownership for the planning and successful delivery of allocated projects to clearly defined timescales, quality and cost requirements. You will be responsible for engaging with key internal and external stakeholders, actively representing the Business Change Team to ensure that effective relationships are identified, established, and maintained.

As a vital part of the team, you will lead project planning, facilitation of project workshops / meetings and coordinating of all project activities from concept to implementation and closure, whilst overseeing and reporting on project tasks and workstream deliverables.

To be successful, you’ll be resilient, with high levels of personal accountability and a drive to be exceptional – you’re not interested in average (because we’re not either!). You also have excellent facilitation and presentation skills, coupled with the ability to manage external vendors.

About you

  • First and foremost, you have 5+ years’ experience in a similar Project Management role.
  • You have excellent working knowledge of planning tools such as Jira, Azure Dev Ops / TFS, MS Project etc.
  • You’re well-versed in balancing multiple projects or changes and prioritising work and resources effectively.
  • You’re an exceptional communicator and have strong organisational skills.
  • Experience of helping to develop and embed Project or Change methodologies and PMO governance would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Agile methodology training/experience, such as Certified SCRUM Master (CSM) is an advantage but not essential.
