Project Manager - BBO Recruitment Ltd. : Job Details

Our client are seeking a motivated, dynamic Project Manager to join their growing team in Wokingham. As the Technical Sales Project Manager you will be working in a collaborative and innovative environment to lead and manage the lifestyle of multiple projects at a time, utilising your design skills to support planning and production whilst acting as the key contact for clients. A background in joinery would be highly beneficial in this role.

Key duties:

• Lead and manage projects from initial consultation to final delivery
• Oversee technical aspects of projects, including material specifications, installation techniques, and engineering constraints
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution
• Site attendance overseeing installation (out of office work would also be required on occasion)
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing expert advice
• Prepare and present project quotations, ensuring pricing is competitive and aligned with company objectives.
• Create and review 2D CAD drawings to support project planning, design approvals, and production processes.
• Prepare quotations
• Liaise with suppliers and negotiate pricing
• Manage and track project data and costs
• Provide project reporting to senior management

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years experience in project management or technical sales
• Proficient in 2D CAD software (Knowledge of 3D CAD is advantageous but not essential)
• Familiarity with the Marine, Aviation, Elevator, Shop Fitting, or Banking sectors is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of production techniques and joinery
• Proven experience in managing client relationships, preparing quotations, and controlling project pricing
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships at one time
• Proactive problem solver with the ability to troubleshoot issues and manage client expectations
• Excellent attention to detail with a meticulous approach to project planning, pricing, and technical execution.
