We are seeking an Active Travel Project Manager to join a North London local authority on an ongoing temporary basis. The successful candidate will manage the council’s bike hangar programme, which includes the rental of cycle parking spaces, rollout of new bike hangars, and maintenance of existing facilities. This role is ideal for someone with strong project management skills and a passion for sustainable travel solutions.

• Oversee the rental of cycle parking spaces and manage the rollout of new bike hangars across the area.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manage the procurement process for new hangars and maintenance materials.
• Ensure the repair and maintenance of the fleet of bike hangars are carried out efficiently.
• Develop and implement new processes and online solutions to enhance the efficiency and user experience of the bike hangar programme.
• Lead a team of three, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

• Proven experience in customer service and project management.
• Strong skills in report writing and team management.
• Experience in procurement and governance, preferably within a public sector or similar environment.
• Ability to work independently and drive projects forward.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
