Key details:

  • Full time permanent post Hybrid working pattern – home-based combined with at least 4 times a month in beautiful HQ offices in Buckinghamshire Salary range of £44,000- £50,000 per annum

The role

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering key projects across product, process, and system development within our client’s portfolio. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to define project scope, plan effectively, and ensure timely execution while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining project scope and objectives in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Developing comprehensive project plans, identifying key milestones, dependencies, and risks.
  • Managing project resources, ensuring alignment with objectives and budgets.
  • Monitoring project performance, implementing risk mitigation strategies where necessary.
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders, providing updates and ensuring alignment.
  • Overseeing transition of project outcomes into business-as-usual operations.
  • Ensuring compliance with best-practice project management methodologies.

The ideal candidate

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven professional with:

  • 5+ years of project management experience, delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with membership/ professional body roles, purposes, and activities.
  • A project management qualification (PMQ, PMP, Prince2, or similar).
  • Ability to work across Education and Professional Bodies sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools (MS Project, etc.).
  • Experience managing external suppliers and third-party providers.
