Project Manager - BMC Recruitment Group : Job Details

My client is a major, £225m turnover MEICA specialist contractor. They have opened a new facility, and are in the process of building a team to support an £85m E&I Project on Hinkley Point C. The initial project will last around 5 years, with a plan for moving on to a similar package on another major project upon completion.The current project is for the design, supply and installation/commissioning of an electrical and instrumentation package on two of HPCs Turbine Halls. Full project scope is:

• Installation of IPB
• Design verification
• Seismic qualification
• Supply and installation of support and containment
• Installation and testing of electrical equipment, instrumentation, cables etc.

The role will suit a Project Manager with an engineering background, with previous experience of working on large projects in highly regulated industries (e.g. Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical etc.) This role is delivery focused but previous experience of working on either NEC or FIDIC contracts would be beneficial.This is a new office for my client and successful delivery of this project will result in further project wins and substantial growth for the team.
