This leading manufacturer is looking for a Project Manager to lead NPI and cross functional business change projects. This is a unique opportunity someone who has had exposure to projects but is looking for more ownership or variety, supporting multiple departments in driving improvements across the entire business.

Description

As the Project Manager, you have the opportunity to join an established company with a supportive management team looking to drive the business forward and continue to improve. You will be supporting the development of NPI, quality improvements and implementation of management/business systems.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
• Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a collaborative work environment, and resolving conflicts or issues that may arise
• Define and provide guidance and leadership on the systems requirements for major business programs, projects, and initiatives, coordinating resources, schedules, and tasks to ensure that projects are delivered on time
• Apply project management methodologies to drive efficiency
• Project Planning, developing project plans, defining scope, objectives, timelines and deliverables
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, developing effective relationships inter ally & externally
• Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
• Identify potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them
• Report on project progress and outcomes
• Continuous improvement of project management processes

This role is site based but there will be flexibility to work from home some days and will involve infrequent travel

Profile

This role is suited to a project management professional with manufacturing experience or manufacturing professional with another specialist areas (such as quality) who has had involvement with projects and is looking to focus their career in that direction.

The successful applicant will also have the following:

• Knowledge of ISO systems
• Experience auditing practices and procedures
• Use of Microsoft Office to advanced level - PowerPoint and Excel
• Knowledge and use of QAD or comparable system
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Attention to Detail
