Role: Project Manager / Project Lead / PMO (Offensive Security)Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 per annum, depending on certs and experience Location: fully remote

We have a permanent position available for a Project Manager/Lead to work fully remotely delivering administrative and operational support for an offensive security team. This is a full-time position, paying between c£45000 and £55000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.

We are looking for a Project Manager / Project Lead with awareness and understanding of cybersecurity and the processes surrounding penetration testing. You would be utilising a blend of excellent communication and conversational skill with, ideally, a technical background, to advise and inform stakeholders/clients through completion of penetration testing.

Essential experience / skills

• Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science or similar/experience
• Project Management qualifications e.g., Prince 2 or similar
• A basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and penetration testing processes
• Demonstrated experience in managing projects (ideally within the cybersecurity, IT, or technical fields)
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to simplify complex concepts and technical details for non-technical stakeholders
• Comfortable with shifting priorities and tackling new challenges in a fast-moving industry
• Strong focus on accuracy and organisation

Role/Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary liaison for team members on matters relating to operations
• Oversee daily administrative tasks
• Manage scheduling associated with penetration testing, allocating resources and equipment as needed
• Attend calls with clients / customers / stakeholders to gather requirements
• Track significant events throughout the project lifecycle and provide progress updates as required
• Provide guidance and support for recruitment activities or other operational requirements
• Develop internal processes to improve team efficiency
• Ensure objectives and success criteria are delivered on time and within budget
