Project Manager - SAP S/4 Hana Transformation - Robert Half : Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Interim Project Manager to support a leading UK retail client on the delivery of a complex SAP S/4 HANA programme. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in a business-critical transformation project. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project management, particularly within ERP implementations and SAP S/4 HANA migrations, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the end-to-end delivery of the SAP S/4 HANA programme, ensuring project milestones and deliverables are met on time and within budget.
• Manage project planning, risk management, resource allocation, and stakeholder communications across various departments.
• Collaborate closely with IT, finance, operations, and external consultants to ensure seamless integration of SAP S/4 HANA into the business.
• Drive the implementation of best practices for SAP project delivery and change management, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Proactively identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure alignment between project deliverables and business objectives, providing regular updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager on large scale, complex transformation programmes.
• Must have experience delivering large scale ERP transformation programmes e.g. SAP S/4 Hana, Oracle, MS D365
• Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale ERP transformation projects from planning through to execution and go-live.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage at all levels of the business.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams under pressure.
• Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) are highly desirable.
