### Job IntroductionYou’ll be based at Milestone, a high-support residential service for 14 menwith a history of offending and complex presentation that may include dualdiagnosis. You will be part of a social care team, working in partnership withclinicians employed by South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust andLondon Probation Police Services as well. The work here will be varied andplentiful.As a Therapeutic Project Worker, youll make a real difference to peopleslives. Passionate about supporting people, youll enjoy the opportunity andsupport to enhance your own life and career too, as you make this role yourown as part of our friendly, multidisciplinary team.### Role ResponsibilityJoin our team and you will be responsible for your own caseload, undertaking &formulating risk assessments, and putting effective care and support plans inplace. In a role where no two days are the same, you will engage with ourresidents through group work and activities that may involve therapeuticprinciples, and will be providing individual support to enable the residentsto make informed choices about their future.You will be required to work 37 hours per week, in a shift pattern includingsleep-ins and weekends so you’ll need to be flexible with the hours you areable to work.### The Ideal CandidateYou’ll need previous relevant experience of using a person centred approach ina mental health setting and a good understanding of the complex needs ofindividuals we support. You must be capable of prioritising your own workloadand using your initiative. Experience of working with individuals who haveforensic histories would be an advantage. You need to be an effective teamplayer with a proven track record as a supervisorline manager.
