Your new companyYour new job working as a Real Estate Account Executive means you will be working for an independent, highly successful Chartered Insurance broking firm based in the heart of the West End. They provide tailored insurance services and solutions for property related businesses and private individuals. With a wealth of years of experience in real estate, they offer expertise in reacting to the insurance needs of owners, developers, and managers of property. Due to expansion within their Real Estate team, an excellent opportunity has arisen to join this company as a Real Estate Account Executive.Your new roleYour new role working as a Real Estate Account Executive means you will be working within a client service team structure, leading and supporting service delivery as required as well as undertaking client facing functions ensuring that the clients receive excellent insurance advice and services. You will also be responsible for dealing with clients from inception to completion dealing with your own portfolio of Real Estate clients. Your role will include client service and retention, placement broking, claims management and negotiation with Underwriters as well as business development. Other responsibilities will be liaising loss adjusters as well relationship management etc, visiting clients and building long term relationships. You will also develop further business from existing clients by identifying cross selling opportunities and request referrals and introductions as well as generating new business opportunities. Further duties will also include developing your own network of real estate professionals and suppliers by attending networking events, contribute to ongoing development of the client value proposition and participate in marketing initiatives. What you'll need to succeedYour previous experience handling Property Owners/ Real Estate business as an Account Executive or Account Handler will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have strong technical knowledge of covers associated with property investors, owner-controlled insurance programmes, latent defects and principal underwriting markets as well as experience of claims management and complex negotiation and knowledge of Acturis. You will also have strong GCSE and A-level grades and proficiency in Microsoft products and achieved the CII qualification and working towards the Diploma programme would be beneficial. Ideally, you will be personable, confident and highly credible when interacting with clients, be well organised and have a strong work ethic as well as good communication and interpersonal skills. Additionally, you will take a proactive approach and take initiative whilst demonstrating professional maturity, collaborate with colleagues and assist with any queries and demonstrate interest in personal development and training.
