Property Inspector Contract Opportunity via BRCJobs:                Property Inspector  Location:        Somerset (Agile Working) Sector:            Property and Housing Contract:       Permanent  Salary:             £35,576 - £36,815 (With Car Allowance)   Are you a meticulous Property Inspector with a passion for delivering a high quality maintenance service? We are seeking someone to join a housing association in the South West on a permanent basis to assist in creating a safe and comfortable environment for their residents.

• You will be supporting in the delivery of responsive maintenance services, component replacement works, void refurbishments, cyclical decorations and some statutory landlord compliance to a patch of properties in Somerset
• Take charge of overseeing responsive repairs, ensuring works are completed to the highest quality standards within agreed timelines.
• Carry out property inspections, for structural defects and general reactive repairs and disrepair cases including damp and mould issues
• Carry out Mutual Exchange inspections to provide status report on the property condition, raising work orders when necessary
• Undertake neighbourhood inspections to ensure safety and standards are being met
• Ensure that all complaints are dealt with and answer any queries from customers, delivering a high quality customer service
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop void works timetables, focusing on minimizing re-let times and meeting applicable void standards.
• Conduct post inspections of planned and cyclical programs of work to ensure quality and value for money.
• Manage and monitor all landlord statutory compliance, ensuring timely certification and adherence to regulations.

Job Requirements:

• Driver with access to a vehicle
• Previous experience in a similar role in social housing
• Full DBS check will be required
