Property Manager

Day-to-day of the role:
Property Management:
- Oversee the operations of residential and commercial properties.
- Maintain properties to high standards, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct inspections and coordinate repairs and maintenance.
- Manage planning permission submissions.
Tenant Relations:
- Act as the primary contact for tenants.
- Address tenant inquiries, complaints, and disputes professionally and promptly.
- Oversee tenant move-ins and move-outs, lease agreements, and deposits.
Financial Management:
- Develop property budgets and achieve financial goals.
- Handle rent and service charge collection, ensuring punctuality.
- Deliver regular financial reports to stakeholders.
Marketing and Leasing:
- Create marketing strategies to attract and retain tenants.
- Conduct viewings and handle leasing negotiations.
- Keep records of property occupancy and availability up-to-date.
Compliance and Legal:
- Guarantee property compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Stay updated on property law changes and apply necessary updates.
- Manage lease agreements and renewals with legal compliance.
Vendor and Contractor Management:
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance and repairs.
- Negotiate contracts and oversee work quality.
- Evaluate performance and maintain service provider relationships.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Property Manager.
- Strong understanding of property management and its financial aspects.
- In-depth knowledge of all rules and regulations surrounding property management.
- Competency in MS Office and relevant databases and software.
- Customer focus and bottom-line orientation.
- Interpersonal savvy with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Well organized with excellent time management skills.
