Property Manager - Tate & Harriss - Property Recruitment : Job Details

We are currently working with a small independent Estate Agency in South London, who are looking for a Property Manager to join their team in Sydenham. The company cover all areas in London, Kent and Surrey, and currently have two branches with further plans for expansion in 2026. They are a young, energetic and hungry company looking to thrive and grow as one of the best leading independent Estate Agency's. The successful candidate must have previous experience within a Property Manager role in the Estate Agency industry with a full understanding of all current legislation. You will be working alongside another Property Manager where work load will be split between the both of you, in a fast-paced environment, so speed and accuracy is key.You must hold a full UK driving licence and own your own car. Salary package and benefits of this Property Manager role include:

• Basic £35,000 - £38,000 DOE
• Monday to Friday 8.30am - 6pm
• If yearly targets are met, then a full expense covered trip to a European City is arranged

Main responsibilities for this role of Property Manager include:

• Manage your own portfolio of 216 properties (including rent collect)
• Assist in overall management duties
• Build a strong working relationship with both landlords and tenants
• Deal with contractors and arrange maintenance quotes and repairs
• Manage compliance
• Book end of tenancy checkouts
• Deal with deposits, deposits releases and any disputes at end of tenancy
• Property visits and inspections
• Arrange safety certificates
• Ensure regular communication with clients

Essential skills for this Property Manager role include:

• Previous Property Management experience essential
• Experience with Fixflo would be advantageous but not essential
• Excellent IT and communication skills
• Work well in a team dealing with any issues efficiently
• Impeccable customer service skills
• Good time management and excellent organisational skills
• Knowledge of current legislation and compliance
• Able to work to deadlines and manage own diary
• Excellent team player
• Must hold a full UK driving licence and own your own car
