PRU Humanities Teacher - Academics : Job Details

Are you a qualified teacher with an ability to manage challenging behaviour? Do you have an empathetic approach, and a passion for supporting children with mental health, EBD, and SEMH needs? Are you ready to take the next step in your career, in to an exciting and passionate Pupil Referral Unit? If so, Academics have the perfect PRU teaching role for you!

About You:

• QTS required
• Able to teach and plan a range of Humanities subjects including Geography, Religious Education, and History
• Affinity for children with SEMH needs
• Committed to raising the aspirations of children with Mental Health and Behavioural requirements in a small PRU
• Adaptable and proactive; you must be able to react to the events the day could throw at you!

About The Job:

• Full time ongoing role
• Working in a small Pupil Referral Unit
• Supporting high aspirations and achievement for SEMH, and EBD pupils
• Delivering Humanities subjects including Geography, Religious Education, and History
