Pump Engineer

£38,000 +Overtime

Covering the London/Bedford/ Reading area

Full Time| Permanent | Monday to Friday 40 hour working week

Attega Group is currently partnering exclusively with our client in recruiting a Reactive Pump Engineer to join the team.

The main purpose of this role is to support the Reactive Engineering Team.

In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £38,000 P/A, depending on experience, plus Overtime, on call bonuses, as well as training to further your career development. This is a full time permeant position

Reporting to the, your responsibilities will include:

• Mend or make safe faulty or incorrectly performing pump and related
• equipment
• Investigate and diagnose faults
• Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and
• provide customised solutions
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
• during all field operations
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding pump
• operation and maintenance
• Deliver exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with
• clients
• Work independently or as part of a team to complete assigned projects
• efficiently and within deadlines
• Keep accurate records of work performed, including maintenance
• schedules, repairs, and parts used
• Stay updated on the latest pump technologies and industry trends to
• enhance knowledge and skills

The ideal candidate:

• Previous experience working as a Pump Engineer minimum 3 years.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve
• pump-related issues
• Knowledge of on-site treatment plants and pump stations (both foul and
• clean water)
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a field-based setting
• IT literate and able to provide accurate job updates on our PDA system
• Flexibility to work varied hours and respond to emergency callouts when required
• Valid UK Driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites
