About the Company: Reed are recruiting for a dynamic and growing company based in Doncaster, seeking a dedicated Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their finance team. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Invoice Processing: Accurately process supplier invoices, ensuring they are matched to purchase orders and delivery notes.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
  • Queries: Handle supplier queries and liaise with internal departments to resolve any issues.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all purchase ledger transactions.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within a finance department.
  • Skills: Strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks).
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organisation: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
