MacKenzie King are delighted to be recruiting a Purchase Ledger Clerk for a well-established business in Colchester. This role will suit a Purchase Ledger Clerk with experience, who enjoys working within a dynamic, friendly team.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Monitoring the purchase ledger inbox
- Processing all purchase invoices onto the system
- Ensuring robust and accurate checking and coding of invoices
- Addressing queries both internally and externally
- Requesting and reconciling supplier statements
- Performing weekly payment runs
Key Skills & Attributes:
- Previous experience using an accounting system
- Good time management skills
- A confident communicator, comfortable speaking to suppliers and internal operational teams to resolve invoice queries.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
- Positive attitude and demeanour, and team player.
