Job Description :

RG Consultancy are working with a fast growing distribution company in Middlewich who are looking to recruit an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk. You will join a small but growing finance team and report back to the Finance Manager. This is a newly created role to support with continued company growth.

The Role

  • To manage the end-to-end Purchase Ledger process for the business
  • Process high volume purchase invoices (around 500 weekly)
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Preparation of payment runs
  • Setting up and maintaining supplier accounts
  • Resolve any accounts queries via phone and email

The Person

  • At least 2 years' experience working as a Purchase Ledger/Accounts Payable Clerk or similar accounts role
  • Able to deal with high volume invoices and work at an efficient pace
  • An AAT qualification would be an advantage but not essential
  • Experience using SAGE
  • Strong to advanced I.T skills are essential

Salary : 26000 - 28000
