Purchase Ledger Clerk - Mitchell Adam : Job Details

An amazing opportunity has come up for a confident purchase ledger clerk, located in the Northampton Town Centre. This position will be working through a large volume of invoices on a daily basis, three way matching them, resolving any queries, processing them and then reconciling statements to ensure none are missed. This position is a great opportunity for someone who has experience working as a Purchase Ledger Clerk who is looking to strengthen their skills within a busy, fast paced environment in this rewarding role.

Our clients are ideally looking for someone who has worked within accounts payable previously, who will be familiar with the responsibilities of the role. The ideal candidate will have experience processing invoices, as well as resolving any invoice queries. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for chasing approval for these invoices to be paid before preparing these for payment runs.

Skills required:

• Have worked in a finance position previously where you were exposed to some accounts payable tasks.
• Have experience dealing with invoice issues such as incorrect values or needing approval before making payment.
• Be immediately available as this position is looking for someone to start within the next week.
• Be a confident, social person who is a team player, finding the right fit for the team is equally important to this business.
