Purchase Ledger Clerk£24,000, Hybrid WFH, with 1 day in the office per weekLeicester Are you a Purchase Ledger/ Accounts Payable professional looking for a new challenge? We are delighted to work with a global business who has an amazing opportunity within their finance team.The ideal candidate will currently work within a Purchase Ledger/Accounts Payable role as you will be expected to hit the ground running.The role

  • Prepare and process payments to suppliers.
  • Dealing with high volumes of transactions for the general ledger
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve any issues or queries.
  • Raising credit notes when necessary 
  • Preparing statements reconciliation
  • Handle supplier queries by email and taking inbound calls. 
  • Using SAP daily including bespoke system

The candidate 

  • Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable 
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in SAP or Salesforce preferred. 
  • Must be comfortable working to deadlines. 
  • Must be able to work from home as well as office.
