Your new companyI am working with a dynamic and innovative company, who specialise in manufacturing and engineering solutions. They are committed to delivering high-quality services and products to their customer base, which is primarily based within the UK. Due to continued business growth, they are now seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a full time and permanent basis. Your new roleIn your new role as Purchase Ledger, you will be handling various accounting tasks and supporting the accounts team. Key responsibilities include processing purchase invoices, reconciling statements, preparing payment runs, managing new account forms, performing bank reconciliations using Xero, addressing accounting queries, and assisting with office administrative tasks such as filing and new starter paperwork. This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, with an early Friday finish.What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you should have proven experience in accounts administration, particularly Purchase Ledger and be proficient in using accounting software such as Xero or Sage, and possess strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are essential, along with the capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.What you'll get in returnIn return, you will join a warm, friendly and welcoming team and a business that offers an excellent culture.
