Full time Accounts Payable Hybrid Role

My client based in Thurrock is looking for an experienced and dependable Accounts Payable Clerk.

This role is the perfect role if you have previous experience in an Accounts Payable role, have good organisational skills and are able to work to strict accounting deadlines.

Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 (dependant on experience) Includes some great benefits.

Some of the duties will include but not limited to:

• To receive and process all Accounts Payable invoices, expenses forms and any additional requests for payment as required.
• To check expenses entries and ensure that accounts coding is correct and VAT is properly allocated.
• Prepare month end bank reconciliations.
• Reconcile supplier statements for each entity.
• Raise entries for expenses within the accounting system and close out Expenses entries for payment.
• Create and process supplier payments through the ledger, upload to the bank, and process remittance advices.

Strong Word and Excel skills desirable but not essential.
