Reed Accountancy are pleased to be recruiting for a Carlisle based company for their next Purchase Ledger Manager!

Annual Salary: £33k - £36k

Job type: Full time, on site

We are seeking a candidate who can manage the purchase ledgers for our team, to ensure accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, credits and payments, ensuring delivery of an effective and efficient finance support function for the business.

Day to day of the role:

  • Line management of purchase ledger team, including training, reviews, holiday and absence management.
  • Develop the purchase ledger team, increasing their skill-base and understanding.
  • Supervision of purchase ledger workload to ensure accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and credits to meet month end close deadlines.
  •  Assist with continual review and improvement of purchase ledger processes and systems and implementation of improvements.
  •  Maintain, manage and develop the purchase invoice system.
  •  Control the importation of approved purchase invoices 
  •  Support the purchase ledger team

We are looking for someone who can: 

Work closely and build strong relationships with the wider finance team, offering assistance where needed to ensure an effective and efficient service is provided throughout the finance team.

· Work with managers and other stakeholders across the company to ensure the processing and payment of supplier invoices is effective.
