Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Administrator to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Maintain and update supplier information and procurement records.
- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to secure the best deals.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to manage stock.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies with orders and deliveries.
- Prepare and analyze purchasing reports to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Purchasing Administrator or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum.
