Python Developer - eFinancialCareers : Job Details

We are currently looking for a Python Back End engineer to work for a consultancy client of ours. The roles will be supporting their FS client as they migrate their trading applications into the cloud (Azure). You will need extensive Python application development experience and not just from writing standalone scripts. You will be use to creating REST API's using FastAPI/Flask and of working with ORM's such as SQLAlchemy as well as be use to writing unit tests using PyTest. Working in an Azure environment you will be familiar with Blob Storage, Key Vault and Kubernetes. Any experience in trading/trade lifecycle in either investment banking, asset management or wealth management would be a major plus. Additional experience of containerising Python applications and CI/CD using Gitlab/Github would be a distinct advantage. These roles will be inside IR35 and will require you to be onsite 3 days per week.
