We’re looking for a QA Engineer to join a fast-growing online pharmacy and doctor service with offices in Bristol.  Growing 50% each year, they’re a UK market-leader looking to super-charge their Test/QA provision as they supply critical treatments and products to relieve the pressure on our NHS.  Working in a close-knit, down-to-earth but ambitious business, you’ll be a real part of something special where your views and expertise will be highly valued.*3 days a week onsite, free parking.What skills you'll be needing
  • Strong manual testing, formulating test cases that meet requirements.
  • Experience using of automated test products (such as Selenium Webdriver, Cypress, Virtuoso) and can articulate the benefits of automated testing.
  • Experience of testing integrations via API and can confidently explain what needs to be verified in API testing beyond data accuracy.
  • Knowledge of various testing methodologies, best practice & techniques.
  • You can distil complex technical changes into clear, easy to understand summaries.
  • Knowledge and experience of white box/unit test automation.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Agile ways of working and the SDLC
  • ISTQB Foundation in Software Testing certification or equivalent experience.
What you'll be doingAs QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of a portfolio of business-critical applications, API and website through test case definition, manual testing, automated testing, defect reporting & tracking, and approval for release. You will work closely with the product and development teams and be a key player in delivering high-quality products to their customers, colleagues and partners.  You will manage and undertake acceptance testing during sprints, report bugs to the development team, manage test environments to ensure sufficient and accurate data is available for comprehensive testing.In addition, you will manage their automated testing capability, identifying opportunities to develop automated tests for regression testing.  Working with the development team you will help to make automated testing a key part of the CI/CD pipeline, preparing the test environment for automated tests pre-release.  Further duties will include introducing and maintain detailed process documentation and being the QA contact for new partner businesses through initial onboarding & integration phases.What you'll get in return for your talentsYou’ll be working for a business that helps people to access invaluable care and medicines quickly when they may otherwise be unable to.  There’s a competitive salary (£45K-£55K), generous holidays, flexible working, pension, bonus scheme, choice of kit, training budget, cycle to work and regular social events and more.  This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing specialist with strong ambitions and exciting projects lined up.What's nextSend in your CV now to Mike for immediate consideration.
