Job Description :

Davenham have an exciting opportunity available for a QHSE Manager to join our team based at our brand new location at Fairham, Nottingham. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £50,000 per annum.

About the QHSE Manager role

Hours: 37 hours -  8-4.30 Mon-Thu, Fri 8 -1pm.

To be responsible for the implementation, adherence, development and maintenance of the Company Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) Management System for our brand new factory. To provide knowledge and skills to promote a positive health and safety / environment culture in the workplace. 

Your key duties as our QHSE Manager will include:

  • Carry out all internal & external audits and all related activities to comply with ISO 9001, ISO 45001 & ISO 14001
  • Promoting quality achievement and performance improvement through review meetings
  • Manage all service contracts and all external services carried out
  • Defining processes and procedures in conjunction with operating staff
  • Co-ordinate, control and document risk assessments and considering how risks could be reduced
  • Outlining and document safe operational procedures which identify and take account of all relevant hazards
  • Manage and control WEEE waste collections internally and externally, manager battery compliance
  • Promoting environmental achievement and performance improvement through notice board notifications and feedback to senior management

What we are looking for in our QHSE Manager:

  • NEBOSH general certificate & IOSH managing safely qualifications
  • Have strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Be fluent in English
  • Demonstrable experience of effective leadership, relationship building and staff management/development
  • Be commercially and financially aware with a keen eye for attention to detail
  • Computer aided drafting experience with the ability to interpret technical drawings, technical documents and specifications
  • Be able to operate all Microsoft packages, including spreadsheets
  • Ability to use an order processing platform and CRM
