Key Responsibilities:* Manage a caseload of children in care, ensuring that each child's care plan is reviewed and updated to reflect their needs.* Work closely with foster carers, residential staff, and other professionals to achieve permanence and stability for the children.* Participate in court proceedings when required, providing evidence and updates on the child's progress.* Conduct regular visits to children in care placements to assess their well-being and promote positive outcomes.* Collaborate with multi-agency partners to provide holistic support for children and young people.* Develop strong relationships with children and their families to promote their long-term success and happiness.Essential Requirements:* Qualified and registered Social Worker with relevant post-qualification experience in children's services.* Experience in working with children in care, particularly in managing complex cases and care proceedings.* Knowledge of fostering, adoption, and the statutory framework for children in care.* Ability to work flexibly and manage a varied caseload with competing priorities.This is an agency post and Pertemps can offer you:
