Quality Assurance Engineer - Elevation Recruitment Group : Job Details

Elevation Engineering and Manufacturing are exclusively partnered with a leading business looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team at their manufacturing facility near Chesterfield. The Quality Assurance Engineer will be tasked with managing and maintaining the AS9100 Quality Management System and will also lead internal audits, pinpointing areas for improvement and making sure corrective actions are followed through.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking for a challenging role in which they can develop professionally, working closely with the senior operations team, managing the internal & external non-conformance reporting system, carry out root cause analysis & implement corrective actions.

Duties & Responsibilities include:

• Manage, review and maintain AS 9100 Quality Management System.
• Coordinate internal and external audit system and monitor sub-contract performance.
• Carry out internal & external audits as required.
• Manage, review and maintain specifications and certifications.
• Deputise for the Quality Manager in their absence.
• Represent Quality Team at Supplier/Customer external meetings.
• Manage internal & external non-conformance reporting system, carry out Root Cause Analysis & implement corrective action.
• Implement and monitor robust corrective and preventative actions using a DMAIC/8D process.

I'm keen to speak to Quality Assurance Engineer's with the following skillset:

• Working knowledge of AS9100 would be advantageous.
• Experience working in a quality-focused role with previous experience of quality systems.
• Audit & audit management experience (ISO9001 lead auditor preferred but not essential).
• Working knowledge of quality tools (such as APQP, FMEA, 6 Sigma, 8D, 5 Why)
