Our client, a long-established manufacturer & supplier of pressed & assembled components to a multitude of industrial sectors is seeking a talented Quality/Process Improvement Engineer to join their Production Engineering team.
The company has a solid financial footing and has seen significant investment over recent years, reflecting the ambition of the company owners.
Key duties include:
- Maintaining the Company Quality System
- Establishing, Implementing & Maintaining Quality awareness across sites
- Responsible for Continual Improvement activities to enhance the products and environment
- First & Last off Inspection
- Work with Cross Functional teams to Generate Manufacturing Inspection Test Plans
- Develop and Introduce SOP for Key Products
- Complete ISIR & PPAP
- Analyze Root Causes and Implement Corrective actions for Processes or parts that have concerns
- Continuously Improving Quality Procedures
- Prepare Regular Improvement reports for the Group Quality Manager
Knowledge and Skills:
- Previous experience in a Production Engineering environment and in a Quality / Inspection Role
- Good Knowledge of SPC
- Good Practical use of measuring equipment and measuring techniques
- Capable of making independent decisions, whilst being appreciative of other departments
- Excellent computer skills including Word & Excel
- Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
- Attention to detail
- Flexible and Trustworthy
