What you will do as the Quality Engineer:

• Measure and track non-conformances and other key quality metrics.
• Support the site with statistical process control monitoring.
• Manage site Root Cause Analysis (RCA) programme.
• Be the key contact for quality and product issues.
• Lead projects that continuously improve quality and/or environmental performance
• Assist in managing site environmental performance by ensuring adherence to permit requirements.
• Manage site ISO accreditations by administering the Integrated Management System.
• Support efforts to obtain additional certifications to allow the site to broaden its offerings to its customer base.
• Manage internal auditing across the SHEQ function.

What you need to apply:

• Experience as a quality engineer in a manufacturing or technical environment, preferably in a process driven environment such as chemicals or steel, food or pharmaceutical.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO:9001, ISO:14001 and ISO:45001
• Strong skills with data gathering, data analysis and use of tools such as SPC.
• Experience with Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• A degree level qualification in a field such as Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc, is desirable.
• Familiarity with HACCP is desirable.

Your package

A salary of £38,000 - £46,000 (dependent on experience) + potential annual bonus (usually circa £1,500), pension (company contribution of up to 10%), private medical, etc.

Monday to Thursday 8:30am-4:45pmpm, Friday 8:30am-4pm,
