Quality Inspector - Allstaff Recruitment : Job Details

We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Quality Inspector based in Milton Keynes for one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis. Our client is a modern engineering company who specialise in CNC machines and they are looking for someone to support the inspection function of the department, carrying out 'first off' and final inspections.

 Responsibilities of theQuality Inspector 

• Accurate and appropriate measurement of product features to determine conformance/non-conformance to drawing/model.
• Adheres to the requirements of the company Health and Safety Policies and Quality Management System.
• To liaise with shop floor on local product Quality issues & systems to support delivery of conforming product.
• Ensure no product non-conformity escapes to customers
• Conducting inspection processes to meet Customer & internal requirements
• Conducting measurements of products / tooling and fixtures as required
• Reporting measurement outputs included for FAIR and improvement activities
• Calibration of measurement devices traceable to national standards

Requirements for a successful Quality Inspector 

• Experience of using manual inspection equipment
• Knowledge of CMM
• Read, understand, interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Working knowledge of ISO9001 / AS9100
• Basic computer skills

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum Location: Milton Keynes Type of Contract: Permanent, Full-time. Hours: Monday - Thursday 8am - 4.30pm and Friday 8am - 3.15pm.
