We are delighted to be representing an inspirational and well respected Cambridge based centre of learning to hire a Quality Lead for their Construction Apprenticeships provision. Our client have outstanding teaching and leisure facilities and a reputation for excellence in a number of fields. Their investment in staff has been formally recognised in being accredited with Investors in People Gold status. Working with the Work Based Learning Manager, you will closely monitor performance of the apprenticeship delivery team to ensure KPI’s are consistently exceeded, using interventions where required to drive overall performance. Ideally, you will have a background in teaching/assessing/quality assurance from a construction education setting. However, we would be keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate high levels of knowledge of apprenticeship Standards delivery, with a proven ability to motivate staff and provide high levels of overall team performance. What You'll Do:
  • Lead the charge in driving ongoing quality improvement across our apprenticeship programmes.
  • Provide overarching quality assurance for full-time provisions, ensuring top-tier performance.
  • Inspire and manage a team, motivating them to achieve the best possible outcomes for every learner.
  • Analyse data and produce detailed reports to support informed decision-making and drive impactful changes.
  • Take an active role in the regular learner review process.
Who We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience in leading quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
  • A deep understanding of the current apprenticeship system and its evolving landscape.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Excellent report writing and data analysis skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and drive action.
  • Proven experience of collaborating with apprentices and employers to ensure high levels of high, timely achievement.
