Quality Manager - Elevation Recruitment Group : Job Details

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting a Quality Manager for a leading FMCG business in Brigg.  As the Quality Manager, you will report directly to the Operations Director and take the lead in maintaining and improving the quality standards across the site. You will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements, while driving continuous improvements in our Quality Management System (QMS). This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to make a significant impact on the quality standards within the business.Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System and customer specifications.
• Maintain and update regulatory compliance with current laws and standards (ISO, BRC, etc.).
• Oversee internal audits, customer visits, and maintain relevant accreditations.
• Manage the Quality Control department, leading and developing the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., commercial, process engineering) to achieve quality standards and implement process improvements.
• Lead the implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and drive employee engagement in quality initiatives.
• Manage the budget for Quality initiatives, ensuring cost-effective quality control.
• Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for quality and implement corrective actions when required.
• Represent the leadership team and act as the key interface for all Quality-related matters across the business.

Skills & Experience Required

• Significant experience in a Quality or Technical Manager role within the FMCG or manufacturing sector.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO, BRC, and regulatory standards, as well as Good Manufacturing Practices.
• HACCP Level 4 certification (
• Experience with quality and data systems (SAP, Q-pulse, SharePoint, I-auditor, etc.).
