Job Description :

Elevation Recruitment Group are exclusively partnered with a global manufacturing business in Scunthorpe in their search for a Quality Manager.  The Quality Manager will lead and manage the process and quality control functions to ensure alignment with the company’s values and strategic objectives. The role will focus on optimizing production processes, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety, and adhering to both local and international regulations, including HSEQ standards, ISO certifications, and the company’s corporate guidelines. This position plays a critical role in maintaining efficient equipment and production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop the Process & Quality Control team by applying leadership expectations and tools, ensuring a workforce that is competent, motivated, and capable of meeting the company's current and future operational needs.
    • Guide team members to ensure adherence to process improvement initiatives, quality control procedures, and industry standards.
    • Implement and monitor processes, procedures, and guidelines to ensure full compliance with local regulations, ISO certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
    • Provide recommendations to Operations Managers regarding equipment setup, both for existing and new production lines.
    • Collaborate closely with the R&D and Group Process teams to implement required changes in formulations and processes.
    • Develop and execute sustainable training programs for operators and other relevant personnel, ensuring an understanding of local production processes, quality control standards, and best practices.
    • Ensure that all personnel are trained in proper production hygiene standards and quality control procedures.
    • Oversee the laboratory's operations, ensuring that all equipment and personnel meet required standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
    • Higher education degree (preferably a Bachelor’s degree) in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant work experience considered in lieu of formal education.
    • Proven experience in process control, quality assurance, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing or industrial environment
    • Strong experience in leading teams and managing cross-functional collaboration, with a clear understanding of quality and safety standards in manufacturing.
    • In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and HSEQ standards, with the ability to enforce these within the production environment.

Salary : 50000 - 55000
