Salary: £53,000 - £58,000

Job Type: Permanent, Fulltime – Mon to Fri, 8.30am to 5pm

Are you an experienced Quality Manager with a passion for excellence? Our client in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a dedicated professional to lead and manage their Quality Systems, ensuring compliance with business, regulatory, and customer requirements.

About the Role:

As Quality Manager, you will oversee all quality-related processes and maintain key certifications, including AS9100, ISO9001, and Nadcap. You'll lead audits, manage a team of inspection personnel, and be the primary contact for customer quality queries. Your focus on continuous improvement will drive the organisation to new heights of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain Regulatory Approvals (AS9100, ISO9001 & Nadcap).
• Lead external and internal audit activities.
• Manage and report on Quality KPIs (internal and external).
• Oversee customer compliance, onboarding, and returns.
• Apply quality tools such as 8D, 5 Why, FMEA, and SPC.
• Manage a team of up to six inspection personnel.
• Support NPI processes, supplier quality performance, and management reviews.
• Promote quality awareness and continuous improvement across the organisation.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 5 years of Quality Management experience in an AS9100 environment.
• Proven leadership and strong organisational skills.
• Proficiency in quality tools (e.g., FMEA, SPC, 8D).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in aerospace, precision manufacturing, or similar industries.
• Knowledge of Nadcap requirements.
• Experience with PPAP, PFMEA, and DVI processes.
• Background in managing inspection teams and conducting first article inspections.
