Jonathan Lee is currently supporting a strategic client in the recruitment of an experienced Quality Project Engineer to join their growing team in the design, development and manufacture of batteries for their state-of-the-art gigafactory on a permanent basis offering an attractive salary and benefits package.

As a Quality Project Engineer, you will be supporting a cross-functional team ensuring quality is designed into products and processes from the initial research phase.

In your first few weeks in this Quality Project Engineer role, you can expect to:

• Represent Quality and the "voice of the customer" in the development of product and processes in the industrialisation of products
• Facilitate cross-functional teams during the development
• Utilise lessons learnt during product development processes to ensure continuous improvement of the Quality, APQP and NPI procedures
• Initiate and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Support and develop control of production COP requirements and audits.

To apply for this Quality Project Engineer role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

• Educated to degree level in an Engineering or Quality-related subject
• Certified 6 sigma Green Belt would be advantageous 
• Core Tools certified (APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP/Control Plan).
