This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week) based in Middleton.

The role

The position will facilitate and provide support in the development and ongoing quality assurance of the standard operating procedures for the quality department and safeguarding, covering all aspects of the provision to ensure the quality of the provision is maintained, controlled and continuously improved.

You will be required to support the Quality Manager in developing, implementing and overseeing all people and curriculum operations to support sustained quality and growth of the provision.

Your duties will include but will not be limited to:

  • As a Quality & Safeguarding Coordinator you will act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and support the Designated Safeguarding Lead in ensuring all safeguarding operational matters are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Manage and monitor the quality calendar.
  • Develop and monitor curriculum operations that cover all areas of curriculum delivery and operational management.
  • Support the quality manager with quality improvement, supporting quality standards internally and externally.
  • Continuously monitor feedback processes, ensuring targets for feedback are met and identify any trends in feedback reports to enable us to identify areas for development and improvement.
  • Ensure best practice is followed in line with the OFSTED Education Inspection Framework (EIF) and that all stakeholders are aware of developments in the EIF and support the quality manager leading on inspection readiness planning relating to external quality assurance visits from OFSTED and Matrix.

Essential

  • Quality assurance experience
  • Safeguarding in education
  • Experience of working cross-department environment within administrative/auditing/reporting role
  • Liaison with a wide range of people in a professional environment
  • Experience of using management information systems to monitor, audit, track and report on data
  • Experience of working in a customer focused service
  • Experience in education environment

Desirable

  • Assessor and IQA qualification
  • Teaching qualification
  • Level 3 or equivalent experience
  • Safeguarding qualification
  • Line management experience
  • An excellent understanding of, and commitment to: Equality and diversity, safeguarding, British Values and Prevent
