Quantity Surveyor - Reed : Job Details

An exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a growing contractor with new projects in Bath and Bristol.

Reporting into a semi resident Commercial Manager and working on a £9 million scheme. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in a main contracting environment who possess strong commercial acumen and can demonstrate a track record of working within commercial, residential or leisure projects.

Day-to-day of the role:

Oversee the financial and commercial management of projects, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.

Prepare, submit and manage project budgets, cost forecasts, and reports.

Conduct risk and value management exercises, advising on procurement strategy.

Measure, value, submit and negotiate contract variations.

Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes.

Liaise with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Work closely with the commercial manager and project director to ensure project objectives are met.

The successful candidate will have experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a main contracting environment. You will be confident and dependable, and work with a good team of managers on exciting projects in and around Bristol and Bath.
