Liberty has an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team, based in Leeds. You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, working 40 hours per week and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £45,000 per annum Plus Company Vehicle/ Car Allowance Plus Excellent Benefits!

Responsibilities for this Quantity Surveyor role are:
Provide financial and contractual management of numerous projects
Provide commercial input on various projects from tender to final stage whilst providing a level of support to the Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Understand tendering process & create tender documents
Prepare commercial agreements with sub-contractors and suppliers and present to senior staff members
Maximise value/ income and monthly cash flow
Ensure tender margin is met on each project and ways to increase margin
Provide cost reports
Manage low value schemes, and contractual position at all stages of a project
Manage the compliance of both the company and sub-contractors
Implement terms of contracts with subcontractors
Maintain an awareness of contractual positions
Effectively manage risk with assistance from SQS
Undertake enquiry, quotation and order processes
Ensure analysis of subcontractor applications
Manage the let of contracts to high quality sub-contractors based on cost comparison exercises
Accurate financial & quality compliance analysis prior to placing orders
Resolve, make suggestions on any issues to SQS based upon the monthly reporting and CVR process
Follow the client reporting process
Schedule reporting
Discuss and resolve day-to-day issues with clients and consultants on lower value contracts and assisting SQS on larger value contracts
Maintaining professional relationships
What we are looking for in our ideal Quantity Surveyor:
Previous experience on social housing planned and responsive contracts along with experience and knowledge of NHF Schedule of Works. Be confident with IT skills. Hold the relevant Qualification. Must be flexible in hours of work and travel and hold a full UK Driving Licence.
